Arrive at Leh airport ( Kushok Bakula Rimpochhe airport ) by morning flight . You can see the most sensational view of Ladakh from the flights. On a clear day from one side of the aircraft can be seen in the distance the peaks of K2, Nanga Parbat, Gasherbrum and on the other side of the aircraft, so close that you feel you could reach out and touch it, is the Nun Kun massif. On arrival you will be met our representative and transfer to your hotel (3 kms./ 10 min.) . Upon arrival, check in to the hotel and full day rest. We suggest on first day to take rest for body acclimatization, since you have gone from a relatively low elevation to over 11,000 feet! You may be very excited to explore the things on first day, however your body needs to get acclimatized to such height and climate.

After early breakfast, drive for a visit to Pangong Lake via Chang La pass (5475 Mts). The drive takes you through spectacular, amazing scenery, with breathtaking views of the snow covered Himalayas. The Lake is the highest (4267 Mts) salt-water lake in the World, situated along the India / China border. It is about 130 Kms long and 5-6 Km wide. The Chang - chenmo range surrounding it from the north provide a spectacular backdrop to the blue and green expanse of its brackish water. Later drive back to Leh. Have your dinner in the hotel. Overnight stay IN Pangong Area.

After  breakfast return journey to Leh via  Hemis Gompa, Evening free at Leh on your own to visit Local Bazaar etc. Overnight at hotel in LEH.
